How To Find Your Size
First, read the description of the robe, cassock, alb or surplice that you are ordering. The description will indicate which Size Chart to use. (Size charts vary by style groupings.) Next look at the Size Chart to identify which measurements are needed.
Take your measurements over the clothing you normally wear during worship services. The diagrams below may help you take accurate measurements. If you need further assistance with measuring, please contact us. Now, select the size that most closely matches your measurements, and provide us with the style name and size number.
The items shown are available for Quick-Ship size or item that exactly meets your needs. Additional measurements may be required for custom tailored items. We can assist you with custom orders. Please allow 6-8 weeks for completion of any custom tailored items.
Chest
Take this measurement over the garments that you will be wearing. With arms relaxed, measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades in the back. The tape should be snug but not too tight. Keep tape parallel to the floor.
Sleeve
Shirt sleeve lengths are required to properly fit all pulpit robes, clergy jackets, and clergy cassocks. If you know your exact shirt sleeve length, you may use this size. To measure start at the center of the back, over the shoulder, around the extended elbow and down to the wrist bone.
Height
Fasten a measuring chart or tape to the wall and stand straight against the wall chart, with "Sunday" shoes on, and heels against the wall. The back of the head should touch the chart.
Have someone place a ruler on top of your head, parallel to the floor. Your total height in shoes should be used for comparing to our Quick Ship size charts.
Band Cinctures are usually worn over street clothing, including pants and a belt, as well as over a clergy cassock. Therefore it is very important to add extra inches beyond a normal "belt" size, which would be too small. To measure for a Band Cincture, wrap a tape measure around the stomach where the cincture will be worn, over street clothing. Add 4" to this measurement to allow for cassock thickness and comfort. Use this measurement to determine your Quick Ship band cincture size.
